1)Jem was one of the main character in the book.He is the brother of Scout Finch.
2)As for the reason of why Jem elbow was hurt was stated in the last chapter.I suppose it was flashback of what happening.
3)Dill is just a nickname for the boy. He came and lived with his aunt. He met scout and jem. He was intelligent and tell tales
As for Boo Radley, he was less seen around the neighbourhood so he was said to be mysterious.
